Hot springs near Denver.
Start with the kind of day you can actually plan. Idaho Springs offers a developed bathing stop; Hot Sulphur Springs has walk-in public pools; Mount Princeton is a separate Nathrop mountain outing. These are three different destinations, not interchangeable stops on one short loop. Choose the bath and admission arrangement first, then check the road route from Denver for your travel date.

Make the plan fit the place.
Keep the mountain destinations separate
A Denver base does not make every Colorado resort an easy add-on. Plan Idaho Springs, Hot Sulphur Springs and Nathrop as alternative outings, and inspect the actual road route before choosing accommodation. Straight-line distances below cross mountain terrain and cannot be used to estimate a drive. The official Denver guide is useful for a wider destination overview; the individual operators establish admission.
Check which water is included
At Hot Sulphur Springs, the seasonal swimming-pool notice is narrower than a whole-property closure. At Mount Princeton, the main public pools and the Spa & Club have different eligibility. Ask about the exact pool or feature you want, especially when summer amenities matter to the group. A room package, massage appointment and public-pool ticket should not be compared as if they were the same purchase.
Before booking or setting off
Check the exact bath, total ticket cost, age policy and current operating notice. Map positions are venue overviews, not surveyed entrances. No driving time is estimated here. Follow official directions for the final road or trail approach.
Questions before you go.
Which of these can I visit without booking a hotel?
Hot Sulphur Springs publishes walk-in public-pool admission. Mount Princeton sells public day passes onsite. Indian Hot Springs has previously confirmed access for non-hotel guests; check its current ticket and reservation rules before travelling.

Does a resort day pass include every pool?
No. Mount Princeton separates its public pools from Spa & Club eligibility, and seasonal facilities may differ. Hot Sulphur Springs currently posts a seasonal closure for its large chlorinated swimming pool. Read the specific facility notice rather than assuming every feature is included.
Are the distances driving distances?
No. They are approximate straight-line measurements from the Denver city overview centre to reviewed venue pins. Records without a supported pin have no numeric distance. Check an actual road route and current conditions before committing to an itinerary.
